Small team, short distance to the customer

episki is a compliance platform built by people who ran compliance programs and got tired of the tooling. The team is small on purpose — which means the work you do lands in front of customers the week you do it.
What it's like

How the team actually works

Four things that are true here and are not true at most companies our size.
You talk to customers
Everyone here is close to the people using the product. Not through a ticket queue or a summary deck — on the call, watching them work.
Ownership is real, not rhetorical
You own an area outright. No committee between a decision and shipping it, and no one reassigning your scope halfway through a quarter.
We dogfood everything
Our own compliance program, trust center, and AI governance run on episki. When something is annoying to use, we are the ones being annoyed.
Written over synchronous
Decisions get written down. Fewer meetings, more context available to whoever needs it later — including the person who joins after you.
Open roles

1 open role

Remote unless noted. Read the full posting before applying — each one says plainly what the role is and what it is not.
Hiring

How we hire

The process is the first real signal you get about how a company treats people. Here is ours.
Short and honest
A handful of real conversations, not an eight-round loop. You will know where you stand at every step, and you will get a reason either way.
Real work, paid
Any exercise uses a real problem from the actual product, runs inside a scheduled session, and gets paid if it runs long. No unpaid take-home marathons.
Comp discussed early
The band comes up on the first call, before you have spent real time on this. Nobody should reach a final round to discover a mismatch.
You interview us back
You will sit in on a real customer conversation before any offer. Joining a small company is a big bet — you should get to see the job first.

Not the right role, or the right time?

Small teams hire in bursts. If the work sounds right but the posting doesn't, send a note anyway — it goes straight to the founder.
